This whole healthy lifestyle thing doesn’t have to get complicated. CrossFit founder, Greg Glassman, issued a simple edict in the CrossFit Journal:

World Class Fitness in 100 Words

Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat. (CrossFit Journal, September 2002, “The Garage Gym”)

There is no reference to grassfed this or organic that. If you can get it, great. If not, it’s not a deal breaker. Keep it simple and get to work.
