January 1st normally brings on the same thing every year. Resolutions. I’m not going to tell you not to make them but I will give you some advice to help you achieve them. You need to PLAN ahead.

P- PREPARE

If you’re going a road trip to a specific destination, you need to develop your plan. You need to know where you’re going in relation to where you are and adjust accordingly. Getting fit or any other worthy endeavor requires the same things. Where are you now? Where do you want to go.

A- ACT

You’re not going to get anywhere until you load up and go. Simple enough.

L-  LEARN

Did you do something? Did it work? Be a student of what you put into your body and how you feel. Learn what types of exercises work best for you. Detours happen. Find the way back to your course and continue on…

N- NEVER STOP

I know it’s two words, but hey…it’s my blog. If there’s no end in sight, it becomes a lifestyle. It’s not 90 days of this, steel buns in 8 weeks or 7 days to a flatter tummy. Those are quick fixes and typically not lasting efforts. The only way to get there is to keep going.
