I can’t do this on my own. I need a team to make me the best I can be. Sure, I’ll workout hard on my own. But it’s not near what I’ll put out in a group. I can set my own goals and work towards them on my own, but without someone holding me accountable I won’t be near as effective.
You guys are no different. The “team” environment we have in our group classes is set up to help you achieve greatness. You’ve got friends “in your corner” pushing and challenging you. That’s a very good thing! Use it. When you finish a WOD, cheer someone on. If you’re finishing last, use the encouragement to drive you forward.
You’re all going to have good days and bad days. Movements and workouts that are awesome for you and others that hit you hard. No matter what, your team are there for you. The Lone Ranger mentality will only get you so far. In a team effort- we ALL win!
