When a 3 year old gets it wrong, it’s cute. I let my daughter say “eleflump” for elephant for over a year. In fact, I never tried to change it. The day she said it correctly, I was a little sad. It was the end of an era. My toddler was growing up into a little girl.

When a grown man (or woman) gets it wrong, it’s not so cute. Half push ups and quarter squats just mean that you don’t really care about growing up. Yes, I just called you out. Obviously you don’t care about improving if you’re going to keep doing these things. A push up is chest to deck (aka the floor). If you’re not getting there- go to your knees until you build strength for the full range. Squats are below parallel. If you’re not getting there- lower the weight and work on your hamstring, groin and calf flexibility.

You all know the answer to the old question-

How do you eat an eleflump? One bite at a time.

You’re not going to get stronger by focusing on faster. You’re going to have to slow down and do it correctly. Suck it up (the pain and your pride). And eat away at your fitness goals one bite at a time.

You CAN do it! We’re here to help!
