Work toward your goal of completing an organized race of your distance of choice (5K, 10K, 1/2 or Full Marathon). You’ll receive instruction and motivation toward your specific race goal, whether it’s your first race or fifteenth. We’ll meet once a week (usually Saturday or Sunday) for a run and to discuss your training for the upcoming week.
You’ll receive a monthly calander with a flexible training schedule, plus ideas and instruction to help you become a more efficient runner.
Topics to be covered: running strategies, types of training runs, injury and prevention, rest and recovery, stretching, breathing, warm up and cool down, nutrition, cross training, shoes and apparel, hydration and much more.
$25 for CFW/BFC members
$35 for non-members
Includes 10+ weeks of motivation (prodding) and training up until the week of your race.
All training classes led by Phillip Mercer, CrossFit Level 1 Instructor, Runner Extraordinaire, AHA/CPR/AED Certified
