The Sven Challenge is always one of my favorite times at CFW! The community comes together and throws down in an EPIC BATTLE of FUN!

The WODs are always do-able (or scalable) and right for the “Competitor” as well as the “Just-Doing-It-For-Fun” guys and gals.

If you’ve never done anything like this (or even if you have), here are a few things I want you to do on Saturday:

1. HAVE FUN

At the end of the day, we’re just exercising. Your attitude will determine a lot about how things go. Don’t let the nerves get to you. Enjoy being with your friends and do your best.

2. SUPPORT EACH OTHER

One thing I enjoy about team competition is the encouragement. When your teammate is working, words go a long way to keep them moving. Don’t forget to spread the love around to other teams.

3. GET IT

I talked to you guys last week about training vs. testing. Sven is a test. Burn it down!

4. STICK AROUND

We’ll be breaking bread after the comp. I’ll be supplying grass fed beef dogs and mashed sweet potatoes. Bring a side to share and whatever drinks you’d like. Stick around. Say hi to someone you don’t know and share war stories. Make a new friend and enjoy some community time.

I’m excited to see you guys hit it hard this weekend! Get your head right! You got this!
