Training. For Life.

I like this theme in regards to CrossFit training. In fact, it’s the tagline to my training blog. When I first started doing CrossFit and before I regularly trained at a CF gym, people would always ask me, “What are you training for?” My answer would be, “Life.” I believe CF training is the absolute best way to train for the unpredictability of life. You really never know what you may need to do next.

Run from a dog?

Lift a heavy load off of a shelf? 

Quickly snatch your child before they run into the street?

One thing is for sure- the Thighmaster won’t get you ready for any of those demands. CrossFit training is about variety- strength, agility, stamina, power, flexibility, etc. Those things, my friend are things you need. For Life.

Here’s today’s WOD:

Power Clean 3-3-3-3-3

These are touch and go reps. Only rest the weight long enough to reset your grip.

3 RFT:

Run 200M
5 Bar Muscle Ups

If you don’t have muscle ups, perform 15 pull ups and 15 triceps push ups per round.
