Deadlift H1- 15 minutes to work up to a heavy single Deadlift. Not a 1RM.

EOM (Every Other Minute) Perform:

5 Deadlifts (225/135#)
5 Box Jumps (30/18″)

Working with a partner, one of you will work at minutes- 0,2,4,6,8,10. The other at 1,3,5,7,9,11. Step down on each box jump. No bounding.

This has been a relatively heavy 2-3 week cycle for us. Expect some de-load next week. Think light and fast!

This is what Josh looks like after a 5am session. Calm down, ladies. He’s married!

A few of us are testing the waters of Outlaw training AKA “The Way.” This genius (although foul-mouthed) coach is turning out some beasts around CrossFit land. Many of the top competitors in this year’s CF Games follow Outlaw. On the heels of our OLY Weightlifting weekend with 2-time Olympian and 8-time National Champion weightlifter, Chad Vaughn, I’m pumped about practicing these lifts- A LOT.

If I seem a little off, it’s because inside I’m dying a little. I’ve done 2 workouts and it feels like I’m starting over! So believe me when I say, “I feel your pain!”

Seriously, I’m excited to dial in my OLY lifting. There’s nothing like it for generating raw speed, power, coordination, and control. I’ll let you know how it goes. If I survive…
